Carrie Underwood Makes “Pregnancy Pact”

Underwood, Carrie

Most likely, Carrie Underwood and new husband Mike Fisher won't be hearing the patter of little feet anytime soon. Certainly one obstacle is that they both are devoted to hectic careers that require them to mostly live apart—Carrie’s crisscrossing the country on her Play On Tour, while Mike is playing for the Ottawa Senators hockey team.

Carrie recently revealed another reason they are waiting before having children: she's made a "pregnancy pact." "I made a pregnancy pact with a few of my female friends," she revealed to host Gerry House during an interview on Nashville's WSIX radio today. "Me and a few female friends are going to try to have children around the same time. That way we can babysit each other's kids and they can grow up to be friends."

She also revealed that husband Mike definitely gets the media attention when they together are in Ottawa. "He's a rock star there. Like when we got married, here it was like 'Carrie Underwood marries hockey player,' and in Canada, it was like 'Mike Fisher marries singer.'" Carrie told Gerry that she prefers it that way, and that the pair are building a new house in Ottawa. "I've only seen it once or twice. It's still under construction." she admitted.
