Carrie Underwood Joins Oklahoma Twister Relief Lineup

Carrie will show support for her home state at Toby Keith’s benefit concert.

Another proud Oklahoman, Carrie Underwood has signed up to help with ongoing tornado relief efforts.

Carrie is the newest addition to the all-star lineup for Toby Keith's Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert, to be held on July 6 in Norman, Okla. She will join previously announced entertainers Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Ronnie Dunn, Sammy Hagar, Mel Tillis and John Anderson live via satellite from the stage of the Grand Ole Opry. Previously, Carrie donated $1 million of her tour proceeds to the Red Cross for tornado relief.

The Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert benefits those affected by the tornadoes that swept through central Oklahoma in May. Proceeds from the event will go directly to United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund to aid recovery efforts. If you are unable to attend the sold-out show, but would still like to offer assistance, you can donate $10 by texting RELIEF to 52000.

Additional artists are expected to be announced in the coming days.
