Carrie Underwood's whirlwind media tour continues. After performances and interviews on Oprah's Next Chapter, American Idol, Dancing With the Stars and the Billboard Music Awards, Carrie will help Dateline celebrate its 20th anniversary.

The special premieres Tuesday (May 22) on NBC at 9 p.m. ET. Carrie will talk about her career with host Hoda Kotb. Hoda and Carrie first met when Hoda interviewed Carrie shortly after Carrie's 2005 win on American Idol. Now, seven years later, Carrie will reflect on her rise to country music stardom and discuss her latest album release, Blown Away, which currently sits atop the Billboard 200 chart.

The Dateline anniversary special will also highlight some of the most intriguing stories from the past two decades, including Jane Pauley's interview with Michael J. Fox, Tom Brokaw's profile of Aron Ralston and Ann Curry's report on the McCaughey septuplets.
