Carrie Underwood Gives Fans a Glimpse of Video for “Blown Away”

Carrie’s latest clip is every bit as dramatic as the tune itself.

The title track from Carrie Underwood's latest album, Blown Away, has gotten some major attention from fans after the singer performed the dramatic song on a recent episode of American Idol and on the Billboard Music Awards.

The singer's fans won't have to wait long to see a video. She released a teaser of the song's video, and it looks like the clip will be every bit as dramatic as the song itself. Carrie has already proven she can take on acting as well as singing (with the clip for "Temporary Home" and her work in the film Soul Surfer), and now we see a few more acting scenes. In one shot, Carrie struggles to escape from a man (presumably the abusive father mentioned in the song), and in another she runs toward safety as a tornado rages in the background. Dramatic sepia tone, up-close shots of Carrie are interspersed throughout.

This should only intensify fans' anticipation of the upcoming clip.
