Carrie Underwood Falls and Soldiers On With Her Show

Singer takes a spill at Texas concert and keeps right on singing.

Even well-grounded stars like Carrie Underwood lose their footing from time to time—and quite literally, in this case. Carrie took a pretty serious fall while performing in Corpus Christi, Texas, Thursday night (Sept. 5). But she picked herself up and barely missed a note, proving the time-honored showbiz adage that “the show must go on.”

Carrie apparently got her shoes caught in her dress as she was performing her hit “Undo It,”nearly coming undone herself. She toppled on the stage but kept right on singing. She later took to Twitter to laugh the whole thing off.

But she evidently got some medical attention as she later posted a photo of herself in a medical boot. Thankfully, the injury wasn’t serious.

“Good news, it’s not broken... AND I got some new footwear!”she joked to her followers.

A fan managed to capture the stage scene on video, which you can see below. Carrie is expected to perform tonight in Hidalgo, Texas. What a trouper!
