Carrie Underwood and Other Stars Share Scripture Favorites

Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, The Band Perry, Brad Paisley and other stars share their favorite Bible passages in a new book, Country Faith, a devotional project set for release Nov. 5. The book was written by journalist and frequent Country Weekly contributor Deborah Evans Price.

Fifty-six artists contribute to Country Faith, describing their favorite passages from scripture and revealing how the Bible affects their everyday life. Country Faith will give the reader an intimate look into the private sides of these country entertainers as they discuss their faith.

A portion of the sale of every copy will benefit Danny Gokey’s charity, the Sophia’s Heart Foundation. Danny started the foundation following the death of his first wife from a heart condition in 2008.
