Carrie Underwood is the top country female touring artist of 2008 as her headlining Carnival Ride Tour wrapped with fan attendance close to 1.2 million.
Carrie played 137 concerts to mostly sell-out crowds during the year. In other Carrie news, the reigning CMA Female Vocalist of the Year is slated to perform at the 35th Annual People¹s Choice Awards, Jan. 7, on CBS-TV.
