Carrie notes that she is enjoying writing with the composers of her recent No. 1 hits, “Jesus, Take the Wheel” and “Before He Cheats.” She says, “I’m starting out with them and getting comfortable writing and stuff like that. And then I’m going to move on to people I don’t know so well and see where it takes me.” Carrie has been working on the follow-up to her smash CD Some Hearts, which just hit the five million mark. The new CD is expected to be released in the fall, though a date has not been announced.
