Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood are holding it down for country music on Forbes magazine’s Best-Paid Celebrities Under 30 list. Taylor came in at No. 5 with $45 million.

Says the magazine:

“Whether you consider her music country, pop or both, there’s no question that Swift is a moneymaking machine. Her new album Speak Now was certified triple-platinum barely a month after its October release. Touring brings gross ticket sales of some $750,000 per night.”

Carrie comes in at No. 19 with $15 million.

The magazine says of Carrie:

“With a successful tour and a role in the recent film Soul Surfer, Underwood can count herself as one of the two most successful American Idol winners, along with Kelly Clarkson.”
