Carrie Reveals Secret Duet Partner: Jimmy Fallon

Ain't nothin' but a C thang. During a recent appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, Carrie Underwood revealed her hidden gift for rap in a skit with the talk-show host. According to Jimmy, he and Carrie once performed as the popular 1990s duo "Jim Carrie," reworking famous rap hits as country songs.

Donning outlandish stage costumes, Carrie and Jimmy hammed their way through spirited—if twangy—performances of raps by N.W.A., Snoop Dogg and Digital Underground. The renditions are humorous, but the real fun is in watching the pair try in vain to keep straight faces.

An enthusiastic supporter of country music, Jimmy has had country legends like George Jones and Hank Williams Jr. on Late Night, and recruited Big & Rich to perform on his comedy album Blow Your Pants Off.

For her part, Carrie is a big fan of the onetime Saturday Night Live cast member. Prior to her appearance, she tweeted, "@jimmyfallon I can't wait to see you on Thursday! I've always wanted to be on your show! We're going to have some fun!"
