Carrie Makes RIAA History

Carrie Underwood's single, "Before He Cheats," has become the first country song to receive Recording Institute Association of America certification as a double platinum digital single.

The single exceeded two million paid digital downloads. "Before He Cheats," a No. 1 for five weeks on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, is up for two Grammy nominations, Best Country Song and Song of the Year. Carrie is also set to perform on the 50th Annual Grammy Awards telecast, Sunday, Feb. 10, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS–TV.
