CARRIE MAKES IT FIVE WEEKS IN A ROW

Carrie Underwood keeps up her amazing hit streak as her single, “Before He Cheats,” stays at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Songs chart for the fifth straight week.

Carrie already has the year’s longest-running smash with “Jesus, Take the Wheel,” which spent six weeks at No. 1. The current streak now means that Carrie has spent more weeks at the top than any other country artist in 2006. “Before He Cheats” is also in the Top 20 on the all-format Billboard Hot 100 chart and has become the highest-ranking song on the chart by any solo artist this year.
