Carrie Isn’t Bonkers for Beards, but She Loves Her Man!

Country singer says she can say 99 good things about her hockey hubby, but . . .

Carrie Underwood loves her hockey player hubby, Mike Fisher, but she mentioned to reporters recently that she's not thrilled with the beards the NHL players grow for the playoffs. Oh boy.

“I’ve gotta address the beard,” she told country music news website The Country Vibe.

“In an interview, I could say 99 amazing things about my husband and how wonderful he is and how thoughtful he is and how much and how well he loves me," Carrie started.

"And then I can say, ‘Oh, but that hockey beard, I am not looking forward to that,’ and that’s what gets printed. . . . And I’m like, ‘I’m so sorry, I swear I talk good about you all the time!' Nobody prints that stuff."

Well, we are printing that stuff here, Carrie. You're welcome.

And congrats to hubby: His beard has helped the Nashville Predators take a 3-1 lead against Detroit in the first round of the NHL playoffs.
