Carrie Headlines Oct. 2 "Pink" Opry

The Grand Ole Opry is joining the fight against breast cancer Friday, Oct. 2, with “Opry Goes Pink,” featuring Carrie Underwood, Terri Clark, Lorrie Morgan and many other stars.

Robin Roberts, co-host of ABC-TV's Good Morning America and a breast cancer survivor, will be on hand as a special guest announcer for a portion of the first show. On each of the night’s shows, Carrie Underwood will take the stage to “flip the switch,” turning the Opry’s signature barn backdrop pink in support of the groups Women Rock for the Cure and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
