Carrie Has 2,000 Friends Help With Hubby’s Birthday

“Hi, baby! It’s me, Carrie,” she says at the start of the video, which makes her fans giggle.

Most country stars have a brutal schedule during CMA Music Festival week, what with media interviews, fan club parties, fundraisers and all sorts of other events.

Carrie Underwood is no exception—her hockey hubby's birthday was Tuesday (June 5), which happened to fall on the same day as her annual fan club party at the Grand Ole Opry House.

So Carrie decided to combine the two events.

"Hi, baby! It's me, Carrie," she says into a video camera in front of about 2,000 fans. Carrie then leads the crowd in singing "Happy Birthday" to her man, Mike Fisher of the NHL's Nashville Predators.

For her fans, Carrie also sang some of her own songs, mostly from new album, Blown Away. But she snuck in some "oldies," including "Temporary Home, "Jesus, Take the Wheel" and "Before He Cheats."
