Carrie Gives 12-Year-Old Boy His Very First Kiss—Onstage

“Just so ya know, my husband is somewhere in this building,” she tells the boy. “He might be looking for ya later.”

Sure it was a long shot, but a 12-year-old boy brought a sign to the Carrie Underwood concert in Louisville, Ky., Saturday (Sept. 22) that read, "Will you be my first kiss?"

Carrie called him onto the stage, and the boy said his name was Chase and that he was 12 years old.

"He's got the jump on me," Carrie told the crowd in a moment captured on videotape. "I was 14 when I had my very first kiss."

Carrie also gave Chase a warning: "Just so ya know, my husband is somewhere in this building. . . . He might be looking for ya later."

Undeterred, Chase moved forward, and when Carrie asked how the kiss was gonna happen, the 12-year-old said simply, "Lip to lip."

The crowd exploded, and even Carrie said, "Oh! This is the smartest kid ever!"

Carrie told Chase to close his eyes, and she delivered, drawing more loud cheers from the Louisville crowd.

A note to other guys thinking about making the same move at future Carrie concerts:

"That's the only time that's gonna happen!" Carrie declared.
