Carrie Gets Second Straight Week on Top of Album Chart

Blown Away sells another 120,000 copies in its second week out, good enough to beat Adele, Lionel Richie.

Yes, Carrie Underwood has had a total of three albums outsell all competitors and launch her to the top spot on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart.

But her latest, Blown Away, is the first to spend two straight weeks as the top-selling album in all the land.

The album sold another 120,000 copies in its second week. Carrie outsold Adele's 21 (No. 2) and Lionel Richie's duets-with-country-stars album, Tuskegee (No. 3), which both saw big bumps in sales for Mother's Day.

Congrats to Luke Bryan, whose latest, Tailgates & Tanlines, snuck into the top 10 of the all-genre albums chart with another 26,000 in sales.
