Carrie Excited to Perform on Grammy Awards

Carrie Underwood is definitely stoked about the chance to perform on the upcoming Grammy Awards telecast, Sunday night, Feb. 10.

"I'm excited to be performing on the Grammys," Carrie recently noted before the No. 1 party in Nashville for her hit "Blown Away." "I've been lucky enough to have done that several times and be part of some really cool moments on the show. It's an honor that they would have me back. There are so many different types of music and amazing artists."

Carrie also revealed that she gets "pretty nervous" on the day of nationally televised shows like the Grammys, mainly because she feels a responsibility to the country genre. "I just want to do the best job I can to represent our format and make everybody proud of country music," she said. Carrie is also nominated for Best Solo Country Performance for "Blown Away."

The 55th Annual Grammy Awards telecast airs live on CBS from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Sunday, Feb. 10, at 8 p.m. ET. For complete Grammy coverage, including spectacular red carpet photos, pick up the March 11 issue of Country Weekly, on sale March 4.
