CARRIE CELEBRATES TWICE

Carrie Underwood celebrated a pair of No. 1 hits, “Don’t Forget to Remember Me” and “Before He Cheats,” at two separate parties at Nashville’s ASCAP office, Wednesday, Jan. 17.

Carrie met with members of the Nashville media before the celebrations and talked about several subjects, including the rumors of her relationship with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. She denied that the two were dating, saying, “He is a very nice guy and I’ve talked to him a few times, but we are very much not together.” Carrie added that the No. 1 parties gave her a chance to thank the writers of her songs. “I love to be here for the writers,” she noted, “and tell them what a great job they did.” She is also working to develop her own songwriting skills. “I am getting together with some writers,” she told the assembled media. “I honestly don’t even know if I’m going to be very good at writing.”
