Brad Paisley, tied for the most nominations (five) with George Strait, Sugarland and Josh Turner are also set to perform on the telecast. And although Brooks & Dunn are performing, they will not be hosting this year’s show, as they’ve done for the past three years. “It was never our intention to be the ongoing hosts of the CMA Awards,” the duo announced in a joint statement. “Each of the three years we hosted were special.” The host format has not yet been determined. Already confirmed to perform on the big night are Kenny Chesney, George Strait and Martina McBride.
