Carrie Blows Away New Jersey Fans With Sandy Donation

And the night is made even more special when Carrie spots a marriage proposal and calls it out.

For a moment after superstorm Sandy hit New Jersey, Carrie Underwood thought about canceling her show Friday night (Nov. 9) in Atlantic City.

But, she told the crowd at Boardwalk Hall, "We thought, 'This building was still here, so it must be here for a reason.'”

Then Carrie said she would be giving the profits right back to victims of the storm, The Press of Atlantic City reported.

“I wouldn’t feel right making any money off of tonight’s show,” she said. “So anything I make is going right back into the community here.”

Do you have goose bumps?

Here comes some more: Carrie was on a floating platform singing "Do You Think About Me" when she looked down and spotted what looked like a marriage proposal.

Carrie stopped singing and said, “Everyone look right there right now!”

The crowd went wild as Carrie urged the woman, "Say yes! Say yes!"

The woman did as she was told, the crowd went nuts again, and Carrie shed a tear. "Congratulations!" she said. "How do I top that?"
