Carrie Big Winner at CMT Awards

Carrie Underwood took home two trophies for her video “Before He Cheats” at the 2007 CMT Music Awards, April 16.

Carrie won the night’s biggest prize, Video of the Year, along with Female Video of the Year at the awards, which honor the year’s top videos. The “Before He Cheats” video also produced a win for the clip”s director, Roman White. The awards are voted on by fans, and Carrie made sure to thank her followers after receiving her honors. The show, telecast live from the Curb Event Center in Nashville, featured performances by Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith and Martina McBride, plus a special appearance by Keith Urban from Australia, singing his latest hit “Stupid Boy.” Kris Kristofferson was presented with the Johnny Cash Visionary Award by Johnny’s daughter Rosanne Cash.
