Carrie to Appear on Saturday Night Live

Carrie Underwood is set to perform as the musical guest on NBC’s popular Saturday Night Live, March 24.

Carrie will sing hits from her album Some Hearts, which recently reached the five million mark in sales. The host for the show will be Indianapolis Colts quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Peyton Manning. In other Carrie news, the award-winning singer plans to return to the studio this spring to record new material for her next album, due later this year. Carrie will also be the cover story of the April 9 issue of Country Weekly—look for it on newsstands beginning March 26.
