Carrie and Brad on Idol's Opry Week

Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley will appear on American Idol during the show's Grand Ole Opry-themed week, March 17 and 18 on FOX-TV.  

Carrie returns to the American Idol stage, March 18, to perform her current hit "I Told You So" with fellow Opry member Randy Travis, who will also serve as an Opry mentor to the show's contestants. "I am so excited that two of my musical passions, American Idol and the Grand Ole Opry, are joining together to create a really special week of music," says Carrie. "I am always thrilled to return to the Idol stage and am so proud this time to be bringing with me one of my heroes, Randy Travis." Brad will perform his new single, "Then," for the first time on national television on the March 18 show. The special Grand Ole Opry editions of American Idol will air Tuesday, March 17, at 8 p.m. ET and Wednesday, March 18, at 9 p.m. ET.
