Carrie, ACM Lend a Hand

Superstar Carrie Underwood is partnering with the Academy of Country Music's Lifting Lives program to support flood relief efforts in Nashville.

The ACM Lifting Lives Temporary Home Fund will aid people displaced from their homes by the flooding earlier this month. A text-to-donate campaign has been launched and was featured during the May 23 broadcast of ACM Presents: Brooks & Dunn—The Last Rodeo, which aired on CBS.

Carrie, the two-time ACM Entertainer of the Year, recorded public service announcements that were inserted into the Brooks & Dunn tribute show. The announcements encourage people to make a one-time $10 donation by texting ACM to 501501. Those donations will benefit the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee and will be given to displaced flood victims.

Donations may be made through August. Donations may also be made online at acmliftinglives.org.
