Carrie’s New CD Coming in October

Carrie Underwood will release her long-awaited new CD, the follow-up to her multiplatinum debut Some Hearts, on Oct. 23.

The new album, which is still untitled, will feature more tracks written by Carrie. She penned the song, “I Ain’t in Checotah Anymore,” for Some Hearts, but she has been writing with several top Music Row writers for the new CD. “It’s been really easy so far, and I think that’s pretty rare,” says Carrie. She adds that the new album will definitely stay in the country genre. “That’s where my heart is, and it’s worked well so far,” she notes.
