Can You Sing It Like Jake Owen?

Owen, Jake

It's no secret that Jake Owen's fans are very vocal about their favorite singer, but can they sing on key? Jake is offering his fans a pretty sweet chance to find out.

The "Sing It Like Jake" contest, a promotion with LongHorn Steakhouse, kicked off October 11, and fans and aspiring musicians can submit videos of themselves singing one of Jake's songs through October 31 by visiting LongHorn Steakhouse's Facebook page.

Fans can visit the LongHorn Steakhouse Facebook page to vote for their favorite video. On November 9, the top 10 videos receiving the most votes will be named the semi-finalists, and each semi-finalist will receive dinner for two at their local LongHorn Steakhouse and will be eligible for the grand prize. The grand prize consists of a trip to Nashville, an opportunity to travel with Jake on his tour bus from Nashville to Vero Beach, Florida, and the opportunity to sing with Jake onstage during his hometown concert at Holman Stadium in Vero Beach on Friday, December 10.

“I remember what it was like dreaming of the opportunity to sing my heart out on stage, and I’m excited to partner with my friends at LongHorn Steakhouse to give one lucky fan that chance,” Jake said in a press release. “Performing live on-stage with my band in front of thousands of fans is an amazing experience for me, and I can only imagine how amazing it will be for someone who doesn’t get to do that on a nightly basis. I’ll be proud to share that moment with our grand-prize winner.”

The grand prize winner will be chosen by Jake Owen and a panel of judges and announced November 15 on LongHorn Steakhouse's Facebook page.
