Auditions for the new season of Nashville Star begin Saturday, Feb. 9, in Pittsburgh and Milwaukee.

The eventual Nashville Star winner receives a major label record contract and a chance to represent the United States at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games. The new season of Nashville Star will air on NBC-TV, with the premiere date to be announced soon.
