Brooks & Dunn Receive Early ACM
Award-winning duo Brooks & Dunn has been announced as the recipients of an ACM honor, the Academy of Country Music/Home Depot Humanitarian Award.

Ronnie Dunn tells Dial-Global that the best part of winning the award is that a group of children will receive a new playground at a location of his choice. “In our career,” adds partner Kix Brooks, “Ronnie and I have done things we could have only dreamed of, but the most rewarding has been when we’ve made a difference for someone else.” During the ACM Awards show, May 15 in Las Vegas, the duo will receive a crystal Tiffany trophy. Brooks & Dunn is up for seven ACM Awards, including Top Vocal Duo.
