Is Broadway Next for Tim McGraw?

“I love New York,” says Tim.

After taking on the country music world and making a splash in Hollywood in films such as The Blind Side, Country Strong and Friday Night Lights, Tim McGraw says spending time on the boards in New York City could be in his future.

“I love New York,” Tim, 44, told told Hollywoodlife.com at the Cinema Society & The Weinstein Company screening of his current movie, Dirty Girl. “I would love to be in New York and do Broadway.”

That doesn’t necessarily mean Tim would be in a musical, though. “I don't know if I want to sing,” he explained. “But I would love to do a drama. That would be fun.”

For now, fans can catch Tim portraying an absentee father in the movie Dirty Girl, which opened in theaters Oct. 7.
