If you put fun-loving guys like Billy Currington, Brett Eldredge and Chase Rice together on a tour, it’s only a matter of time before something wacky happens.

Which it definitely did Saturday, May 3, as Billy’s We Are Tonight Tour wrapped up in Ft. Smith, Ark. The three guys had been taking the stage together to cover the beloved Garth Brooks classic “Friends in Low Places” during Billy’s set throughout the tour. This time, Brett and Chase surprised Billy by coming to the stage in the bold plaids and stripes straight out of a ’90s country album cover—including the signature headset mic on Brett.

Billy, good sport that he is, got a kick out of it. “Great tour, great times!” said Billy in a Facebook post with a picture of the three of them. The remainder of this spring and summer, Billy will shift to tour opener for Lady Antebellum.
