Could there still be hope for the seemingly doomed whirlwind romance between Kenny Chesney and movie star Renée Zellweger? Various news reports, ranging from In Touch Weekly magazine to the Internet's MSN, reported in mid-December that the couple has been seen on several dates together recently, including a romantic dinner at Mario's restaurant in Rocky Hill, Conn. In the In Touch story—which started all the reports—a witness reports that the two were "very happy and cuddly" during that meal. The magazine also says the two were also seen holding hands at the Wethersfield Diner in nearby Wethersfield two days before. However, a Nashville insider close to Kenny claims they aren't dating or even seeing each other. Kenny and Renée were married in May, but an annulment was filed in September.
