Brantley Gilbert Revs Up for New Album, “Just as I Am”

Brantley Gilbert loves hopping on a high-powered bike just as much as pumping up a crowd at a concert. The “Country Must Be Country Wide” singer will be doing a bit of both as he literally revs up for his new album, Just as I Am, set for release May 19.

To promote the new record, Brantley will head out on a six-day motorcycle ride from Athens, Ga., to Arlington, Va., beginning May 21. Brantley will make stops along the way to share some of the new music with fans and sign autographs. On May 25, he’ll perform the pre-race concert for the huge NASCAR event, the Coca-Cola 600, from the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Charlotte, N.C. That same day, he’ll do an album-signing event in Greensboro, N.C. The trek wraps up at Arlington National Cemetery outside of Washington, D.C., on the Memorial Day observance, May 26.

Harley-Davidson and the military charity Folds of Honor are partnering for Brantley’s ride. “As a longtime Harley-Davidson rider and enthusiast, I am beyond excited to have their support to ensure this ride is a success,” Brantley said in a statement about the event.
