Brantley Gilbert, Challenged by Friends, Takes an Icy Plunge

Don’t double dog dare Brantley Gilbert if you don’t wanna see it get done.

His buddies back home in Georgia sent him a challenge to take a polar plunge in supercold water. And Brantley, according to a YouTube video, was up for the challenge.

Brantley went down to the Cumberland River in Nashville Tuesday—and it was cold in Nashville on Tuesday (March 25).

He stripped off his shirt and paid the challenge forward.

“I challenge the BG Nation. All of y’all, I love you and I’m sorry I gotta do this to you, but it is what it is.”

Brantley then did a back flip into the water and then jumped right back out of the water, adding a colorful word into his exit from the river.

Hopefully, Brantley has thawed out on time to get back out on his Let It Ride Tour this week.
