Brad Writes New Theme Song for GAC’s Opry Live

Brad Paisley has written and recorded a new theme song for GAC’s Opry Live show, and the song will debut on the GAC telecast Saturday night, Oct. 27, at 8 p.m. ET.

Brad titled the song “From Uncle Jimmy to Justin,” a reference to Uncle Jimmy Thompson, who played on the first Grand Ole Opry radio broadcast, and Brad’s fiddle player, Justin Williamson. “The Drama Kings [the newly adopted band name] and I went into the studio with the daunting task of coming up with music that encompasses the many generations of styles that are the Grand Ole Opry,” explains Brad. “I like what we came up with, and I hope the fans do, too.” The Oct. 27 Opry Live telecast will feature Josh Turner’s induction as the newest Opry member.
