News of the death of longtime Yankees owner George Steinbrenner sparked a couple of Tweets from Brad Paisley.
“Got to meet Steinbrenner once,” Brad tweeted. “He came to a show. Got a hat with his autograph. He was very nice.”
Moments later, this tweet “And just to be fair and balanced, for my Boston Red Sox fans, um . . . I also met George Wendt once.”
George Wendt, if ya don’t know, is the actor who played Norm on the TV sitcom Cheers, which was set in Boston.
