Brad Says Kermit Is Finger-Pickin’ Good

Paisley, Brad

So we’ve told you that Brad Paisley and Rolling Stone contributing editor David Wild are writing a book together about Brad’s guitar heroes. Ya might see a chapter on Kermit the Frog.

When David asked fans, via Twitter, for their guitar heroes, Brad replied: “My first guitar hero was Kermit. It was a banjo. But whatever.”

Brad added, “Yeah there's a lucrative video game idea. Banjo Hero.”

Brad’s whipping things into overdrive, what with putting out a Hits Alive album Nov. 2 and hosting the Country Music Association Awards Nov. 10.

He’s doing Letterman’s show Nov. 3, and as part of that, Brad will do a 45-minute concert that will be streamed live from the Ed Sullivan Theater at 8 p.m. ET. Nov. 3, at cbs.com/late_night/liveonletterman.

Maybe Kermit will jam with him.
