One of Brad Paisley's most memorable Christmas holidays started out all wrong, but taught him a valuable lesson. When he was in college Brad was playing some shows in West Virginia, but had to be hospitalized on Christmas Eve after coming down with an ear infection and pneumonia. While disappointed that he couldn't be home for the holidays, Brad learned that some of the cancer patients on his floor had been told that this was probably their last Christmas -- and they were spending it in the hospital. Brad says it taught him a valuable lesson about what to be thankful for at Christmas, and a responsibility to remember those less fortunate than we are.
