In country music, we all know how incredibly talented Brad Paisley is. And now, other genres are taking note, too.

Ex-Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman John Fogerty included Brad—and Miranda Lambert, Alan Jackson and Keith Urban—on his solo album coming up this fall.

And Brad is so good that Fogerty got caught staring at Brad in the studio.

"There was a point where we were kind of trading solos and one of the takes we did, he was playing and, I mean, it was amazing, it was fabulous," John tells ABC News Radio.

"And then, suddenly, there was this big silence and I went, 'Oh! Oh, that's me! Oh!'

"I was just having such a good time observing," he said with a laugh. "In other words, I was watching him and then, you know, my mouth was probably wide open, like, 'Oh my God, that's great,' and I had forgot to be a professional and, you know, play something."

John said Brad is one of his idols.

"Music is just flying out of that guy. He's an incredible guitar player. He's an incredible singer. . . .  And he is definitely a songwriter and a musical presence, and he's incredibly prolific. I don't know if that guy ever sleeps. It's just so much going on all the time."
