Brad Paisley Show Picketed by Westboro Baptist Church

Country star commemorates event with . . . a selfie!

Those who know Brad Paisley would call him one of the most upright guys in the entire entertainment industry. But even he has his limits. So, when members of the well-known Westboro Baptist Church chose to picket his show in Kansas City, the hilarious country star did what any self-respecting smart phone owner would do. He took a selfie. And then he tweeted it.

Members of the congregation happily obliged Brad by posing for the photo, and in Instagram video, one is even spotted taking a photo with her cellphone. The signs they carried bore messages like “Sin Breeds Violence,” “God Hates Drunks” and “God Controls All.”

To our knowledge, no mention was made of cigars or sarcasm, two of Brad’s favorite indulgences.

Today, Brad updated his Twitter feed with the tongue-in-cheek tweet, “Can’t wait til Twiggy goes to ski at the next boat show in Missouri and Westboro Batsh!t pickets HIM. #SinfulSquirrel.”
