Brad Paisley Says the French Are Really Nice

Country star spends some time in Paris during days off on European tour.

Brad Paisley and US Ambassador Charles Rivkin

Brad Paisley got a few days off his European tour and—on the advice of some in-laws—headed to Paris for his first-ever visit there.

His favorite part, Brad tells an interviewer at the U.S. Embassy: "How nice the people are. Everywhere we’ve been, they’ve been very very nice. And you know, I don’t know that I expected that.”

Brad says folks can sometimes be resentful of visitors who don’t speak the language, but that hasn’t been the case.

Brad did learn “bonjour” (good day) and “merci” (thank you), and he took in some sites and met the U.S. ambassador to France, Charles Rivkin.
