Brad Paisley Hopes to Meet Eric Clapton One Day

“That would be top of mind right now as far as people I haven’t met,” he says.

If you know Brad Paisley, you know he really loves his guitar heroes. Heck, a few years ago, he even wrote a book about 'em.

But there's one he still hasn't met.

"I sure love Eric Clapton, and one of these days would love to play with him," Brad told reporters recently.

Apparently, the feeling is mutual. This year, Clapton invited Brad to play Eric's annual Crossroads Festival, the festival to which Clapton invites his favorite guitar players.

Brad says he couldn't make it.

"But one of these years, I hope to even—I've never even met him," he said. "That would be top of mind right now as far as people I haven't met."
