Brad Paisley to Do Book on His Guitar Heroes

It’s a safe bet that nearly everyone in the country music industry puts Brad Paisley in a top 5 list of the genre’s great guitar slingers.

Brad will document just how he came to be such a terrific axeman in an upcoming book, to be called The Diary of a Player.

In it, Brad will salute his guitar heroes—in country, blues and rock – who inspired his love of the instrument. But his publicists haven’t said who those heroes are.

The book will be released by Howard Books, an imprint of publishing giant Simon and Schuster in May. Brad is co-writing it with Rolling Stone contributing editor and friend David Wild.
