Brad Paisley to Do ACM Duet With . . . Roger Miller?

Yup, Brad Paisley will sing with the late country great Roger Miller Sunday night (April 7) on the ACM Awards show.

Brad samples Roger's 1964 hit "Dang Me" on his new song "Outstanding in Our Field," and with some technology, Roger will make an appearance for Brad's live ACM performance.

"What's fun for me is, like when we do it live, you'll see in black and white Roger Miller behind me come up on the screen," Brad tells ABC News Radio.

Brad will also have Dierks Bentley singing with him and Hunter Hayes playing guitar.

"[Roger]'s doing his line, and then Dierks comes in the next verse, and Hunter plays guitar and all this," Brad says. "And it's like that conglomeration. That mashup, that whatever that is the new frontier for music, really."

Brad says he's psyched to be singing with the late country legend.

"Now you really have the technological ability to not just build on the past and take all of these things I learned from Roger Miller being a fan, but I get to sing with him because of technology," he said. "And then the copyright lawyers get to figure it all out. Which is fun, I don't care."
