Brad Paisley Collaborates With LL Cool J

LL Cool J, rapper, Grammy Awards show host, actor . . . and country collaborator.

Yeah, you read that right: Brad Paisley and LL got together for a track on Brad's upcoming album. And though Mr. Cool J showed his fun side on the Grammys, Brad says his track with the rapper isn't what you might think.

"Yeah, it's fun," Brad started, adding, "Well actually, the song with him is more serious than fun."

How did these two get together?

"We have a mutual friend who hooked us up when I had an idea for something," Brad told reporters.

"He's a great songwriter, and more importantly, he's a great human being. He's a really nice man, and he is a class act. And I am lucky to associate with him at all."

The new Brad album, Wheelhouse, comes out April 9.
