They’re baaack! Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood have proven themselves competent and hilarious hosts for the Country Music Association Awards, so it’s no surprise they’ve been invited back to host for the seventh time.

The big news came during ABC’s airing of CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock while Brad and Carrie played a battle round of “CMA Awards Trivia” with Little Big Town.

In a release Carrie said, “Over time there’s been an evolution of who we are as hosts of the show—what fits, what’s comfortable, what’s real, and we love being a part of the creative team. We feel the responsibility of what this night means to our music community, to our fellow artists and to the viewers at home.”

Brad good-naturedly added, “Shoot, we’ve written a bunch of jokes every year. This’ll just be the first time we have to pay union dues.”

The 48th annual CMA Awards will be broadcast live from Nashville, Nov. 5 on ABC.
