Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood to Host Sixth Straight CMA Awards

Video announcement has Carrie and Brad going back and forth with Little Big Town.

Looks like Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are taking over for Vince Gill as the names you instantly associate with hosting the Country Music Association Awards.

Carrie and Brad have signed on for a sixth straight year, and the CMA made a funny video of Little Big Town making the announcement.

“How awkward would it have been if it would’ve been Jimmy Kimmel?” Brad asks deadpan. “We’re just sitting here.”

Then, LBT’s Karen Fairchild says, “Why don’t we take a look at some of your greatest moments hosting the CMA Awards?”

Brad says, “There’s three.”

LBT’s Jimi Westbrook fires back, “That’s generous,” a line that has everyone in the skit—and off camera—cracking up.

The 47th Annual CMA Awards will air live Nov. 6 on ABC.
