BRAD CELEBRATES “THE WORLD”

Brad Paisley celebrated the No. 1 success of his single “The World,” Monday, Sept. 11, in Nashville in a distinctively clever fashion.

Brad welcomed Music Row industry insiders and media to the Adventure Science Center for the party, and showed a special video prepared by the planetarium staff to the assembled crowd. “Since this was a No. 1 for three weeks,” Brad explained, “I said, ‘Can we do something different?’ So we started looking around at planetariums and this place was available.” Before the party, Brad fielded questions from a gathering of reporters. He indicated that the next leg of his tour would include some changes, including new tourmate Carrie Underwood. Brad added that his latest single, “She’s Everything,” which he wrote for his wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley, was not as easy to compose as people might believe. “The images had to be personal, but also universal,” he said.
