Blake’s Christmas Special Earns Solid Ratings for NBC

Blake Shelton scored some holly jolly ratings Monday night (Dec. 3) with his slightly irreverant Not So Famiy Christmas special on NBC.

"Blake Shelton's Christmas debuts strong after The Voice," The Hollywood Reporter trumpeted.

A popular online TV industry site, zap2It.com, declared, “Blake Shelton's Christmas special is solid.”

Blake scored about 9 million viewers for the special, which is quite good for that last hour of primetime programming before the late news.

How good?

The week before, NBC had the season finale of Revolution in that same time slot. This week, Blake's special got only one-tenth of a rating point less than that season finale.

The special will re-air on Friday, Dec. 14, at 7:00 p.m. CT, or you can just watch it anytime right here. Merry Christmas!
