Blake Wins American Music Award

Blake beats out Brad Paisley and Jason Aldean for the off-camera award.

Very few of the American Music Awards winners Sunday night (Nov. 20) were announced off camera, but country male vocalist was one.

And the winner is . . . Blake Shelton! Blake beat out Jason Aldean and Brad Paisley for the trophy.

He delivered his colorful acceptance speech—of course—via his Twitter account.

“Holys%$tballs!!! I just found out I won an American Music Award lastnight!” Blake tweeted Monday morning (Nov. 21).

“Anyway thank y'all for voting your asses off for me!!! I promise next time yall are up for an AMA I'm gonna vote everyday for you!!! Swear!! . . . I kinda feel bad winning though . . . I'm not American . . . I'm country, b&$ch!!!”
